Electronic Switches offers solution to detect duty cycle for crane monitoring system.
Electronic Switches has developed to adopt necessary safety measures while operating magnets. As per IPSS – all magnets shall be suitable for cyclic duration of 50% or 75% on 10 minutes rating. Duty cycle of magnet means the total ON time of magnet in 10 minutes.
We can calculate the same as below.

It is not possible to maintain the duty cycle during operation and magnets get over heated, this affects its properties and degrades itself, causes dropping of materials being lifted by the magnet. Continuous such operations may causes premature failure of magnet coils and suffer from heavy breakdown & maintenance costs etc. To triumph over the situation, the CMS 19-1continuously monitors duty cycle of magnets and gives warning to the operator when Duty Cycle exceeds the preset value also provide with Data logger , data will be stored in SD Card and report will get in excel format.
